Here are some helpful coffee sites around the Internet.

  • Coffeekid - One of the best sites on the web. Lots of info and reviews - very educational. Click on the link here to go to the Newbie section, but be sure to explore the whole site.
  • Sweet Marias - Thom and Maria cater mostly to the homeroasting crowd, but have lots of great info as well.
  • alt.coffee - This is a Usenet newsgroup where lots of folks discuss various coffee-related topics. Some are professionals sharing their wisdom and experience, all are aficionados.
  • An Individual's Guide to Coffee - This is a commercial site in Australia, but with reliable general info and how-to's.
  • Espresso FAQ - David Bogie's very informative site.
  • Coffee FAQ - Possibly the principal source of information, covering the whole range of coffee questions. It has evolved over the years which has led to a disjointed style, and perhaps gives undue prominence to less mainstream items.
  • CoffeeGeek - A great new site by the Coffeekid folks.
  • HomeRoaster - Ed Needham's informative site for home roasters.
